Remedy For Common EyeBrow Problems

The shape of your eyebrows can enhance your appearance and it does so by flattering your facial shape, balancing your features, and framing your face. If you have thick, full eyebrows, you might need to tweeze them; if you have thin, small eyebrows, you may need to fill them in with a pencil. Either way, here is how to find a shape that’s flattering to any face.

Problem 1: Not-so full brows

Remedy:  Sparse brows can be easily patched-up with a precision pencil.

Things You Never Knew About Your Eyelashes

If you’re anything like me, you probably spend a lot of time trying to lengthen, plump and curl your eyelashes. It’s easy to forget that they aren’t just an accessory—they actually protect your eyes from irritants like dust, sweat, and even the sun.

So while we are busy doing all we can to have fuller, sexier lashes, there are some must-know facts that will keep your lashes healthy and gorgeous.

1. They Require Some TLC

Eyelashes are made out of the same components as hair—and just as your hair gets dirty, so do your eyelashes. Protecting your eyes can be dirty work, causing a buildup of dust, sweat, and mascara. For a gentle cleanse, press a warm compress to the lids before washing lashes with baby shampoo.

What Do Your Brows Say About You?

 Image result for great eyebrows

Did you know that the shape of your eyebrows might be communicating a false message about what you’re feeling?

I was reading an article on a study published last year in the journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, where researchers digitally altered a photo of a woman’s face to create different eyebrow shapes and showed the pictures to 20 people, asking them to what degree the various photos conveyed emotions like fatigue, surprise, anger, sadness, or fear.

Regrowing Your Edges!!!

Who would have thought edges will be so important in this life, back in secondary school, when people had bad edges, it was so funny but never really meant much. I loved calling some of my friends ‘rat head’ cause their edges were so scanty.

Now you need those friggin edges, especially when you’re on a high bun or ponytail. It’s so important and a part of your packaging as a lady/girl/woman.

Straight to the matter, the reason a lot of people have bad edges is cause they never ever let their hair see the light of the day. It’s from one weave to another, or to braids, locks and all those other styles that put a lot of pressure on the edges. If you don’t like how your natural hair looks cause of the edges or something, invest in a good wig, this will stop the weaves and braids from pulling out your hair.

Olive oil works a lot of wonders, besides its uncountable uses from conditioner, to makeup remover, eczema remedy, calluses and so many other beauty uses.

Did you know you can use it as a shaving cream? Apply olive oil on the area you want to shave, and get your shaving stick ready.

It’s used as a substitute for shaving cream. This reduces bumps and all the other effects of using a shaving stick.

How I Deep Cleanse My Makeup Brushes

Cleaning your makeup brushes is one of those mundane tasks that we must all carry out (unless of course you like to spread bacteria across your face). You’d be surprised at how many people I come across who have used the same foundation brush for months or years and NEVER washed it. Sickening isn’t it.
